She realized that once people are broken in certain ways, they can't ever be fixed, and this is something nobody ever tells you when you are young and it never fails to surprise you as you grow older as you see the people in your life break one by one. You wonder when your turn is going to be, or if it's already happened.

hi egoddess. i guess we are all broken beings in one way or the other. whether we can still fix ourselves or not, it is up to us if we let ourselves be totally ripped apart.
remember the vase analogy i talked about on my blog? it's related to that in some sense, but being broken isn't about needing to be fixed, it's about staying intact after what has happened.
that's sad to hear (or read). i've been very broken the 1st 2 years of high school and i so know what it's like. perhaps turning to the lord can make 1 whole. it made me whole... it made many people whole... maybe it can heal these people, too...
this post made me think about the future. what if i lose the child-like part of me... or what if i become too sophisticated... or forget about god, who healed me...
anyway, i like this blog. i'm glad i finally got to visit, ate amgine! and that i'm not not-welcome. hehe. take care. ^_^
it has to break first before it needs fixing. we make mistakes to learn and become better.
amen to all the previous comments.. i guessed we need all to experience failures and hardships in order to learn and make things right again the 2nd time.. happy wkend sis :)
ung sinasabi mong broken, parang sugat yan e, forever my scar. pero hindi naman about being broken ang kaso e, it's about being able to pick up the pieces again.
